After speaking with the officer in charge of the investigation and seeing the scene of the accident and with no more answers just more question. I started my own investigation for facts and to stop the nightmares of what happened.
The Driver
Kim Glosson of Calhoun, GA ran over my son and did not receive even a ticket. She was driving 44 mph in a 35. Only nine miles over the speed limit they told me. She had a Facebook post a pic of her dog in the passenger seat go up at the time of the accident. I was informed that had privacy issues and they could not check her phone. She did not stop for 86.5 feet after running over my son. I was told it was a pedestrian outside a crosswalk. She stated in her statement, " Yeah, I saw them playing but his clothes were dark." I was told by another GA State Patrol officer that looked into the case, "I don't believe she ever saw him. she wasn't pay attention."

The Georgia State Patrol Investigation
The investigation performed gave my son no respect. As a nurse my documentations have to match what happened or was done. The report that I received states he darted in front of car. If so how is it that my son's head was damaged and not any of the rest of his body. I talked with some many people and given no answers and left with more questions. If they felt she was not paying attention then why was she not charged. These are just a few things I found to be questionable of the investigation ....other than the out of focus pictures.
1. My son's body not covered up to show respect.
2. Scene not controlled... They allowed the drivers mother to walk through to go to her but sent my family all the way around to get to my distraught husband.
3. The report does not match to the injuries he suffered.
4. Statements were not taken properly or without possible distortion from others.
5. Suggested possible story told does not match up to his position.
